LPSA Perak has full authority to manage and regulate the following aspects
Water Resources Management
Regulate and manage all water resources in Perak State including rivers, lakes, and groundwater.
Water Quality Protection
Monitor and enforce water quality standards to ensure safe and clean water supply.
Licensing & Permits
Issue licenses and permits for water extraction, usage, and discharge throughout the state.
Law Enforcement
Enforce the Perak Water Resources Enactment 2023 and related water management regulations.
Policy & Planning
Formulate policies and strategic plans for sustainable and integrated water resources management.
Research & Development
Conduct research to improve efficiency of state water resources management.
