How do I apply for a water extraction license?

You can apply for a water extraction license through our e-License system on our portal or visit the LPSA Perak office with the required documents including MyKad, site plan, and completed application form.

How long does it take to process a license application?

Processing time depends on the type of license. Generally, applications will be processed within 14 working days after all complete documents are received.

Do I need a license to build a well?

Yes, well construction requires a license from LPSA Perak. Please apply for a license before starting construction.

How do I renew an expired license?

License renewal can be done online through the e-License system or at our office. Please renew at least 30 days before expiry.

What are the fees for water extraction licenses?

Fees depend on the quantity and purpose of water extraction. Please refer to the fee schedule on our portal or contact the Licensing Division for more information.

How do I report water pollution?

Reports can be made through our hotline 1-800-88-5000, online complaint system on our portal, or directly at our office. Include photos and location for prompt action.

What should I do if there is a water supply disruption?

Contact your water supply operator or contact LPSA Perak for information on water supply status in your area. Latest information will also be displayed on our portal and social media.

How can I check water quality in my area?

Water quality reports are updated monthly and can be accessed through our portal in the Water Quality Monitoring section. You can also request water quality testing through the Water Quality Division.
